Greased Leonardo

Today is my day of movie music!!! Since I woke up today my Media Player is loaded by music mainly from sountracks. It's probably because I have finally found soundtrack from GREASE which I couldn't find for soooo terribly long time. I missed it so much because this CD has been my love since I first saw Grease. It was I guess when I was 10 maybe more. I knew all lyrics of every song which is there - and I still know them - and believe it or not I know almost whole scenario. It's not a big surprise because I was able to watch it at least 5 times a day. Though I wasn't mad about Danny Zuko as many other girls. My favourite character was definitely Kenickie :D I also always wondered why it can't be like in Grease. Why our high school can't be like in Grease! You know, just to break into singing with bunch of friends and than move along like everything is normal!

This movies also grounded musical love in me. If there is any musical in TV or theatre I must watch it! Most of my CDs are full of songs from various movies, serials and musical plays in general. My favourite are definitely those kinds of old movies like Grease, Grease 2, Dirty Dancing, Mary Poppins and soundtracks with old music from 50's, 60's to 80's. For example Forrest Gump is full of this music and I just love it! However Grease was, is and always will be soundtrack and movie musical #1 no matter what.

As I'm talking about movies...yesterday I was on The DaVinci Code. I have read the book and I was sooo excited to see it! Well, the movie...it wasn't bad but book by Dan Brown is much more better. I am alive to that it's hard to make movie based on book and cramp 300 pages to 1,5 hour. I appreciated the bilingual scenario :D Nevertheless it disappointed me a bit. For example there were some moments completely different than in the book. Another thing which I really didn't understand quite well was that I thought that Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) was supposed to be the MAIN character. Sometimes it just seemed that he didn't do anything and everything was let to be done by Sophie Neveu (Audrey Tautou). Nevermind. I hope that X-Men III which I want to see this week will be better. :)

Till next post...
