The Oldies Hits List

Nothing interesting happened today and won't happen anyway. It's the penultimate week of school and tomorrow is deadline for our marks. Except the physics I know what my marks will look like so I'm quite happy and actually I'm doing absolutely nothing but reading books or listening to music. I can't spend much time outside though because of REALLY hot weather. So for example a while I spent at home yesterday I utilized for making another list. This list describe my oldies addiction - 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Simply there are songs from these years sorted in some minor categories:

Sad Songs
1. Love Hurts - Nazareth
2. In The Ghetto - Elvis Presley
3. Amazing Grace - Jennifer Avalon (not as good as very first original but I just love any version of this song)
4. Hotel California - The Eagles
5. Dreaming Of You - Selena

Freaking Around Songs
1. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper
2. I Want You Back - Jackson Five (times when even Michael Jackson was normal)
3. Wake Me Up Before You Go Go - Wham!
4. Stayin' Alive - Bee Gees (still wondering how they could sing so hiiiiiigh!! )

2. Chim Chim Che-Ree - Dick van Dyke (originally from Mary Poppins musical)
3. Respect - Aretha Franklin
4. More Life In A Tramps Vest - Stereophonics
5. Karma Chameleon - Culture Club

Calm You Down Songs
1. What A Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong
2. Light My Fire - The Doors (if you don't listen to it in some club, remixes are much more groovy and definitely don't calm you down :D )
3. Moon River - Audrey Hepburn (also sung by Frank Sinatra or Louis Armstrong but you know, Audrey is Audrey :)
4. No Woman No Cry - Bob Marley (I would adjust the song title for No Man No Cry :X )
5. Knockin' On Heaven's Door - Guns & Roses

Guitar Songs
1. Under Pressure - Queen feat. David Bowie (words cannot describe how much I love this song!)
2. Learn To Fly - Foo Fighters
3. Another Brick In The Wall - Pink Floyd
4. We Will Rock You - Queen
5. Black Suits Coming (Nod Ya Head) - Will Smith (I KNOW it's hip hop thing but that guitar line is perfect! :P)

Some Particular Songs I Don't Know Where To Put
1. The Bad Touch - Bloodhound Gang ("...like they do it on the Discovery Channel" - genius who had devised this line)
2. Flash - Queen (simple song in great movie - first sci-fi I have ever seen)
3. Rasputin - Boney M
4. Mrs. Robinson - Simon & Garfunkel
5. Greased Lightning - John Travolta and Grease cast
